Agentry is a real estate agent matchmaking platform based in California. We connect homebuyers, sellers, and investors with real estate agents based on personality compatibility, communication style, and working preferences. Our website is agentryapp.com.
We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, take our compatibility quiz, or sign up as an agent. This includes your name, email address, and quiz responses. For agents, we also collect your real estate license number and payment information for account verification. We automatically collect certain technical information when you use our site, including your IP address and pages visited, through cookies and Google Analytics.
We use the information we collect to match clients with compatible agents using our proprietary scoring algorithm, create and manage your account, process payments and verify agent accounts, improve our matching engine, and communicate with you about your account or matches. We do not use your quiz responses for any purpose other than generating your compatibility matches.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share your information only with agents you are matched with, who receive your first name, general location, and compatibility score; with service providers including Stripe and Resend who are bound by confidentiality obligations; and when required by law.
Agentry uses Stripe to process payments. Your payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number or CVV on our systems. A $1.00 card verification hold may be placed on your account when you sign up as an agent. You are not charged until your first closing, at which point an annual fee of $299 applies.
We use cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data about site traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect certain features.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your personal information, opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell personal information), and not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights. Contact us at privacy@agentryapp.com to exercise these rights. We will respond within 45 days.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where required for legal or financial compliance.
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information including encrypted data transmission, secure password storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Agentry is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we become aware we have done so, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page and notify you by email for material changes.
